졸업전시를 위한 심화된 컴퓨터 조직설계 과정으로서 디지털 방식으로 디자인된 Draft를 제직 과정에 적용하여 창의적 직물디자인을 개발한다. 졸업 작품을 진행할 계획서와 샘플 작업을 진행하여 학기말 평가를 거쳐 2학기에 졸업 작품으로 완성한다.
교과목해설(영문)
The student's project for graduation, designed in consultation with the faculty, can be in one of the woven textile areas. The project, which will be evaluated by the faculty at the end of the semester, can entail a collection of designs or fine arts work representing the current conclusive state of students' work or an investigation of a new area. The level of concepts, skills, and commitment constitute a major part of the criteria in the evaluation of the work.
This course provides students with an opportunity to research, develop, and create of complex, multi-shaft woven structures using CAD (weave design software - weavepoint). Projects include an in-depth exploration of woven structures and creation of woven design collections based on market trends research. The capstone course, students will develop a professional portfolio in actual and digital formats and refine work for their final exhibition. Students' individual interests will guide market research and the resultant development of targeted lists of potential employers.
