홀치기 염색의 원리를 이해하고 전통적인 홀치기염과 현대적인 홀치기염을 접목시켜 소재에 따라 다양하게 활용 할 수 있는 능력을 기른다.
교과목해설(영문)
This module provides an opportunity for students to learn the use of dyes and shibori techniques to produce craft art works and useful articles. Lectures are given on characteristics of various dyes and dyeing methods, and students are trained to produce intended colors. Students are encouraged to experiment various dyeing techniques as well as discharge techniques. To enable students to produce creative art works and useful articles, experiments are carried out on design ideas and how to develop those ideas.
