섬유, 실, 직물의 구조와 성능을 강의와 실험을 통해 이해하고, 직물의 기능성, 심미성, 감성을 부여시키는 가공 및 염색법, 세탁 및 각종 취급법 등 직물에 대한 기초적인 이론과 실제적 내용들을 습득함으로써 과학적 이론을 바탕으로 직물 디자인에 응용이 이용되도록 한다.

This module provides an opportunity for students to study the structure and performance of fibers and fabrics through practice and learn diverse methods of processing and handling to enhance the functionality, aesthetics, and sensitivity of textiles.
